![]() 1. Pinole Valley High Campus Sigma students are prohibited from being on the PV campus, unless given specific permission by Mrs. Blake or a staff member. Sigma students may not be on the PV campus before school, during the lunch periods, or after school. Sigma students may not be on the PV student or teacher parking lot, or loiter along the sidewalk in front of the campus. Violation of this policy will result in removal from Sigma. 2. End of Sigma School Day When your school day ends, please plan to leave the campus. You may not be on or near the school grounds. Additionally, you are not to loiter near or about the creek area. Students must promptly exit from school to return home or report to work, etc. 3. Smoking on Campus State law prohibits the public, both students and adults, from smoking on a school campus. Students are not premitted to smoke in our restroom facility or on the sidewalk in form of the school along Pinole Valley Road. Mrs. Blake intends to strictly adhere to the district policy regarding consequences for violating this rule. Moreover, a suspension will be issued for first-time infractions and the student will be prohibited from returning to school until a parent conference is held. 4. Restroom Use Within the first few weeks of school we will have a new restroom facility. Mrs. Blake expects students to use the facility in a responsible and civilized manner. Those students guilty of actions that damage or deface this structure will be dropped from Sigma High. The restrooms will be locked during class time. your teacher must give you permission to leave class. If permission is granted, report to the office to ask Dr. Campbell or Mrs. Blake to unlock the door. Please be advised, that if you leave class, be prepared to make-up the time you missed after school. if you are not willing to comply with this, do not ask to leave class. 5. Absences You parent can excuse your absences by contacting the office (758-7510) or submitting a dated and signed not explaining the reason for the absence. 6. Telephone A pay telephone is available for student use before or afer school and during the breaks. In case of an emergency, students may use the office telephone. Students are required to ask permission first and explain the need. 7. Student Deportment The staff expects students to demonstrate respect for themselves, for others and for the school campus. Actions or exchanges that are not appropriate or courteous are unacceptable, and will result in consequences.
