PAINTBALL Information!!!

Paintball is one of the greatest outdoor adventures that you could ever experience with your clothes on. The game starts with you and a CO2 powered paintgun, similar to how a bb gun works, which shoot paint pellets. Paint pellets or Paintballs are round gelatin capsules filled with various colored paint. The paint is non-toxic, biodegradable, water soluable paint which should be non-staining. Paintball guns are also referred to as markers, since they are not real guns and with the right safety equipment will not harm you.

There are various games which can be played, but the most popular one is called,"Capture The Flag". You divide your group into two teams, using colored arm bands to separate them. Each team gets a colored flag, with the objective to both guard your flag while trying to steal the opposing team's flag. All of this is done within a time limit, usually being 15 to 30 minutes.
Prices? Paintball will cost you some $$$, but you should equate it to a day of skiing or rafting, etc...

Basically the entry fee will be between $10 and $20 and anything you need can be rented. Paintgun (Marker) rentals can run from $5 to $20 depending on how advanced a gun you can afford. And finally the paintballs will run you an average of $5 per 100 paintballs. All the Safety equipment are included with the rental fees.
The safety equipment is the Most Important: "Your Mask/Goggles" this will protect your most vulnerable part of your body...(cups and chest pads are optional :)
As a fellow student, I realize $$$ is very important, so I try to schedule as many special events as I can. On a special price day you can play for as little $25.oo All Day, (Seriously, I saw it happen, and he didn't even skip any games) In addition to special events, I try to reserve games. It is very important for beginners to have a good first impression, so playing against experts won't help any (for beginners: try to get a reserved game which usually takes at least 20 people and stick very close to a veteran of the game to pick up pointers)
