A counter is a neat little additive to your page that will tell you how many people have visited your site.
Using a Counter is not only a good way to keep track of how many times your site has been accessed,
but also is a good way to tell if your Web Site is getting noticed at all.

TRACKERS
Trackers are similar to Counters but not only can they tell you how many hits your page is getting, they can can also reveal statistics and information about the person viewing your page.
