How can I tell if people are visiting my site? How can I get comments from people who visit my Site?
As a counter can tell you the number of hits your page gets, and the use of a Form can retrieve information from the viewer, another great way is to have a Guestbook on your page.
A Guestbook can be read and signed by visitors to your site. It is set out in the style of a Form but information is kept on the server from which your Guestbook is provided by.
There are several good sites on the web the provide this service and I have listed some of them below:

Not only is a Guestbook a good way to keep track of your viewers, but also a great medium to retrieve comments of how your Site can be improved, and where your designer 'strengths and weaknesses' are.
Of course bear in mind though, this is YOUR Web Page, a place for you to express your ideas. But, sometimes a little help from viewers can help you to understand the concept of the design and layout technique.
