My Computer

OK, so this is sad - a detailed description of my computer for anyone who's interested! It's worth having here for comparison purposes. I built this machine myself, initially upgrading my first PC which I bought from a mail order supplier, Tiny Computers. The only bit left from the original PC (a 486SX-25) is the 3.5" disk drive!

Processor: Intel P233-MMX (overclocked 200)
Motherboard: Soyo 5TF using Intel 82430HX chipset. Fitted with 512k pipeline burst cache.
Memory: 96Mb 72-pin SIMMs. 2x32Mb 60ns EDO SIMMs + 2x16Mb 60ns EDO SIMMs.
Video: S3 Virge DX with 4Mb EDO RAM.
Hard disks: 6.4Gb Seagate Mode 4 IDE + 2.5Gb Maxtor Diamond Max Mode 4 IDE.
CD-ROM: BTC 24x Mode 4 IDE.
CD-writer: Mitsumi IDE 8xRead, 4xWrite
Sound: 16-bit Soundblaster compatible based around Opti931 chipset
TV card: Miro PCTV Pro
Modem: 56kbps WebExcel External Voice FAX/Modem.
Scanner: Optic Pro 4800p 24-bit A4 parallel flatbed.
Monitor: 15" Hewlett Packard Ergo Ultra SVGA.
Printer: Canon BJC-250 Colour inkjet.
