PARENT INVOLVEMENT Smedberg Middle School and Sheldon High School value parents and their involvement in the schools' academic and extracurricular programs. Studies have shown that when parents are involved, students achieve at a higher level. There are many ways that parents can support their son’s or daughter’s education. The most obvious means of involvement is to take an active interest in their daily assignments; however, there are also plenty of opportunities for parents to participate on campus as well. AS few of the options are to assist a store or library, assist with the Renaissance program, or help in the office. Parents have the latitude to serve whenever their schedules permit: weekly, bimonthly, or occasionally. If you are interested in volunteering your time at Smedberg Middle School and/or Sheldon High School, please feel free to contact the Parent Coordinators: Sheldon High School: Jo Davie and Catherine Goddard Your active participation at Smedberg Middle School/Sheldon High School will benefit both the students and school.
