Our objective is to create an exciting manufacturing exhibit that encourages our visitors to interact with machines, tools, and computers within an advanced and highly automated manufacturing facility. Through participation and observation, each guest will explore their interests and challenge their curiosities in an environment that promotes productivity, efficiency, and innovation. 

Learning Objectives

• Provide a basic understanding of the manufacturing process, especially the relationship between people and machines, the importance of teamwork, and the benefits of quality control
• Build a level of excitement for careers in manufacturing, dispelling images that the field is slow to adopt new technologies, boring, or mundane
• Provide visitors with problem solving activities
• Identify scientific principles in the design, development, fabrication, and testing of a real product
• Illustrate connections between themselves and manufacturing

• Experience automated production equipment in action.
• Understand the manufacturing processes of producing common consumer products
• Become immersed in an interactive environment no matter what age, gender, interest, or level of expertise
• Participate in learning activities using the same problem solving techniques that engineers and manufacturing professionals use
