He is married to Author/Actor Kathryn Grody and they have two sons, Isaac and Gideon.

Most of you will know Mandy Patinkin (like Adam Arkin and Christine Lahti) from Chicago Hope, the tv-series, where he plays the heard-surgeon Jeffrey Geiger.
