Assignment five

Structure of prion (1AG2)

1.Open www.rcsb.org/pdb/ and search as prion or 1AG2.

2.Click download/Display file from left menu.

3.Click on PDB file and Save full entry to disk and save in xxx.ps file.

4.Download SPDBV program from www.expasy.ch into your computer.

5.Open spdbv program and open file that you save its in form of xxx.ps and result will show originally structure of prion (1AG2).

.Click windows ---> control panel ---> Click right on dialog box and select white color.

7.Click under B S on control panel for changing Backbone to Ribbon form. (Similar in figure)

8.Click select ---> secondary structure --->Helices and click left on color menu in control panel to change color to blue.

9.Click select ---> secondary structure --->Strands and click left on color menu in control panel tochange color to red. The result will show in figure.

11.Select Display menu ---> Render in Solid 3D for construction 3D image.
