Jensen Ackles (Jason Teague)
Texas-born Jensen Ackles is said to have once auditioned for the role of Clark Kent for Smallville back in late 2000. Obviously, he did not get the role. Three years later, he joined Smallville with its fourth season as Jason Teague, a young man Lana meets on her journey to Paris. Jason had serious mommy issues, and didn't last more than a season on the show.
Jensen Ackles can be seen next on the new WB series Supernatural, premiering September 13, 2005 in Smallville's old Tuesday at 9pm timeslot.
You might remember Jensen as "C.J." on Dawson's Creek or as "Alec" on Season Two of Dark Angel. He starred in a series for FOX titled Still Life that was supposed to become a midseason series, but obviously never materialized. Soap fans remember Jensen for several years as "Eric Brady" on Days of our Lives.
Interesting trivia: Jensen's father, Alan Ackles, is also an actor. He appeared on episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger and Dallas.
