Disclaimer:
I don't own Inuyasha,
Or Hana Yori Dango,
Miroku, Kagome, Sesshoumaru,
Kouga, Rin, or Sango!
Whee!!
I hope everyone enjoyed that disclaimer ^_^ just to clear some things up,
Hana Yori Dango is also known as Meteor Garden, for those who were asking.
I won't be making this exactly the same as the manga/anime. This is an
Inu/Kag, though Kagome might have a slight interest in Sesshoumaru in the
beginning, but don't worry! Not for long. ^_^
This chapter might be a bit more mature as well, mentions of rape and crude
language. Tell me if you think I should raise the rating to R.
I got such nice reviews, so that inspired me to start on this chapter right
away! ^_^
Abuse- Chapter 2
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Rin's heart practically stopped dead in its tracks when Inuyasha picked
himself off the floor, and dusted off his pants.
Miroku questioned from behind Inuyasha. "Hey man, you okay?"
Growling, Inuyasha spat back. "No! I'm NOT okay!"
Scampering like a sick dog, Rin lowered her head and pleaded in a
whimpering tone, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry...I-"
He interrupted her in an obnoxious tone. "You've got some nerve, bitch."
Then, he did something completely unforgivable. Inuyasha spat on her head!
Who the hell did he think he was, the King?
The whole while, Rin was still sobbing. "It...it wasn't on purpose..."
He smirked. "You do know what's going to happen now, right?"
Feeling a burst of courage rush through her, Kagome rushed down the stairs
screaming, "Wait a second! What is your problem? She already apologized,
didn't she? Please forgive her!"
She ran aside Rin, and patted her shoulder while her friend continued to
sob.
Inuyasha turned around and walked back towards his friends, while saying,
"Is this some sort of cheap display of middle-class friendship?"
Now for some reason, this ticked Kagome off especially.
Pacing angrily back towards him, Kagome pulled one of his arms and spun him
back around to face her. She pointed a finger in his face and yelled. "You
know what? People like you make me sick! Acting all high and mighty, when
all you can do is hide behind your father's wealth! What have you fucking
done yourself, huh?"
Suddenly, Kagome became aware of a crowd's existence. It felt as if her
whole class was there, watching her argue with the most powerful student in
school.
Expecting a kick, insult, assault, anything, Inuyasha didn't say a thing,
just stared right into her eyes.
Kagome tried to make eye contact with Sesshoumaru, but he just flipped his
hair and ignored her.
'...one of them isn't so bad...' Rang in her ears as Y4 left, leaving her
standing there surrounded by gossiping students.
'What have I done?'
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Slowly walking down the hallway the next morning, Kagome noticed all the
evil glares she received from the students. When they saw her they all
backed away, still whispering and pointing.
"She's here! It's her! Look!"
"Let's go, and don't make eye contact!"
"I still can't believe she said that to him!"
Kagome's hopes of not standing out in these two years instantly shattered.
'More than anyone, I wanted to avoid trouble here...'
Edging towards her locker as slowly as possible, Kagome carefully pulled
open the metal door.
A red card. It swung in her face like a hanging noose.
Hoping that all of this was a dream, Kagome shut her eyes but could not
stop the shuddering of her hands, still holding onto the locker handle.
"Ah..."
Kagome quickly twirled around, trying to spot the owner of that voice. What
she saw didn't make her feel any better. Rin was standing there, tears
running down her cheeks. When she saw Kagome spin around to look at her,
she jumped back and sped away.
"Rin?" Kagome heart bled. Even her only friend whom she saved was scared to
come near her now.
Laughter next to her could be heard.
The same, annoying voice could be yelled out. "I guess in the end this is
the value of your cheap friendship."
She didn't even have to turn around to know who the arrogant bastard was.
Y4 was leaning against the lockers, smirking.
Kouga laughed. "I wonder how long this one will last. I say one week."
"I give her three days, what about you, Sess?" Asked Miroku.
The same, cold look remained on his face. "Who cares? Doesn't even matter."
Again, he had disappointed her. Not that Kagome expected him to save her
any of these times, but...
'Doesn't matter? Doesn't matter? Yes it does you jerks!' She thought sadly
to herself.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The next day at school Kagome had something in mind, and she had prepared
it this morning when her mom wouldn't let her skip school.
For some reason today Kagome let out her braids. It was the first time in
months, but for some reason she felt braver when she did so.
Marching through the school, she stomped into the room where Y4 always hung
out. At the time they were all chatting, before Kagome ran up to them in a
flash and screamed, "I'm gonna clean up your act, Y4, because this is my
declaration of war!"
Finally acknowledging her presence, all four of them realised something was
taped to their foreheads. A red tag with a skull scribbled onto it. It
wasn't long before Kagome ran off again, sort of regretting what she did.
Kouga smirked. "Interesting. We've got a challenge...our first one as a
matter of fact!"
"Why don't we show her what we CAN do?" said Miroku.
Inuyasha added. "Don't think we'll hold back just because you're a woman."
Kagome strolled through the halls again. 'Now that I think of it, I'm
terrified of what they're going to do. I don't even have a plan...just what
have I gotten myself into?'
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Walking into the school the next morning, when a guy found out it was her
he screamed and ran away. Everyone else was twice as far away from her as
they were yesterday.
'What am I? A monster or something?' Kagome thought angrily.
Making her way into her math class, she noticed something was terribly
wrong. Her desk was missing.
"Hey...my desk is missing..." Kagome stuttered.
SPLAT.
Kagome froze. Something had just hit her on her temple, hard. She brought
her hands up to the side of her head and felt it. An egg. The yolk had run
down her face, and eggshells were broken in her hair.
What made it even worse were the comments of the students.
"Hmph...look at her face!"
"This really isn't a place for a commoner like you."
"Yeah. Get a clue. You don't belong here with us."
"Hurry up and leave."
On top of that giggles arose from almost every student, all, but one. Rin
was hiding behind her book.
Just then the teacher walked in. The students settled down and all sat in
their desks. Kagome was left standing up alone at the front of the
classroom.
"Alright class. Let's take a seat now, shall we? Hm? Kagome? Please sit
down." The teacher instructed.
Tears were forming in her eyes as she mumbled out. "My...desk is...gone."
The teacher adjusted his glasses. "Um...then I guess you'll have to
petition for one in the office. Everyone, please turn to page 14 in your
textbooks."
Even the teachers were in fear of Y4. Inuyasha's parents were also head of
the school district, and had a lot of power.
A girl piped out from the back of the classroom. "Getting a replacement
won't do you any good."
"Akane, no talking in class." The teacher instructed.
Trying to hold back her sob, Kagome thought hard to herself. 'I won't cry
in front of them. That will only make them more satisfied!'
Strolling out the door as casually as possible, Kagome dashed down the
hallway as soon as her foot left the doorframe of the classroom. Kagome
charged to the top floor and burst out the door onto the balcony.
"*sob*- d-damn them!" Kagome cried as she bent over and covered her face
with her hands.
"There's something in your hair." A deep voice rang out.
"Wha-? Who is it?" Kagome sat up and stared at Sesshoumaru, who was leaning
against the wall.
He asked, still staring at the view. "Is that some sort of yolk hair
treatment or something?"
Kagome couldn't help but admire just how handsome he was. She couldn't even
believe she was here talking to one of the Y4 so casually. Deep inside she
wished this could last forever.
"It's all you guys' fault! Those jerks in class threw a freakin' egg- you
know? A FREAKING egg at my head!!!"
Kagome was now waving her hands in the air screaming.
"Haha...you look really stupid." Sesshoumaru said. "So I guess you are the
girl who always comes up here to scream."
Kagome's heart stopped. He knew? "Um...how did you-?"
He laughed. Kagome was really interested in knowing more about him. Her
tears had stopped almost immediately after he had laughed. She felt
comforted around him, so she asked a question she was curious of for a long
time.
"Say, what kind of people are Y4? You seem a little different from the
rest." Kagome asked, hoping he would tell her some weaknesses or something.
Sesshoumaru said, ignoring her question. "You know, there's no point trying
to get that information from me. You're just better off leaving this school
as soon as possible."
Kagome snorted. "If I could do that than all my troubles would be over."
She paused. "I'm not like you guys. I sacrificed my family's budget for my
tuition, so I can't just-"
"I don't care about that. I'm not interested in other people's problems."
He said as-a-matter-of-factly.
Kagome stood up and walked back towards the door.
'How could I have thought he was different? He's the same as the others!'
She thought while running back to her classroom.
Sliding open the door, Kagome noticed it was empty.
'Oh...right! P.E. was next.' She remembered.
Just about to go out the door again, she realised her desk was back. 'Hey!
My desk!'
Running over to it to make sure nothing was wrong with it, she sighed.
Maybe she wasn't in THAT much trou-
"They hid it in the furnace room." A girl's voice rang out from the
doorway.
"Rin..." Kagome exclaimed.
Rin looked awful. She looked as if she had been crying the whole time. "I-
I'm so sorry Kagome, you saved me, and I-I still-"
'Rin carried the desk back by herself... without anyone seeing her.' Kagome
thought.
She interrupted. "Rin, you should go. You'll get in trouble if you're seen
with me."
"But-"
Kagome smiled. "It's alright. I won't let those guys get to me. Now go
before they come back!"
Tears were running down Rin's cheeks like a faucet. "I'm sorry again,
Kagome."
'I've come to like myself a lot more now; it feels as if I was just
sleeping before.' Kagome pondered to herself happily.
She held a fist in both her hands. "I'm not going to back down to them!
HA!"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
That night at a nightclub...
"Sorry I'm late, guys." Announced Miroku when he came into the club with a
supermodel around his arm.
Inuyasha asked. "Where's Sess?"
Kouga laughed. "I called him earlier today, he's already asleep. That guy
needs like fifteen hours of sleep a day."
"You know, I'm getting kinda tired of dance clubs every fuckin' night. Just
people flailing their bodies around like idiots. Isn't there anything
interesting these days?" Yawned Kouga.
Miroku grinned. "Sure! What about that weird Higurashi girl?"
"Kagome Higurashi, huh?...She's kind of cute when you look close enough."
Kouga smirked. The girl wrapped around his arm looked jealous.
"Doesn't she remind you of Inuyasha's older sister that just got married?"
Miroku said, and burst out laughing right after.
Inuyasha spat out his cocktail. "What! Don't say such a disgusting thing!
There's no resemblance at all!"
Kouga joined in with the laughing.
Inuyasha stuck up his head. "My older sister is a woman without peer who
tells it like it is. She can't be compared with such rabble."
His older sister was extremely violent. Inuyasha would get a punch or a
kick some days for no reason at all. It was hell before she finally got
married and moved out.
He continued. "Anyway, I'm definitely going to boot that girl out. Our
pride is on the line. I've already got my next move all set up." Inuyasha
smirked, grabbing another drink from the waitress.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
'Grrr...today they've taken my shoes! I might as well go home...' Kagome
thought while picking up her backpack. The classroom was empty when she
heard a loud sound.
CRASH.
Kagome snapped around to see a guy from another class crawl through the
classroom vents.
'What the hell?'
He smirked. "Thank you very much for your letter."
"What-what letter?" Kagome asked, backing up slightly.
"Don't play dumb. You put it in my locker." He continued. "Ever since you
got on the Y4's bad side, you said you had no friends. You also said that
if I was willing to talk to you, you would do anything in return."
Kagome was spooked. Now THIS was a whacko. "I didn't put ANY letter in your
stupid locker you weirdo!"
"Don't give me that. We've already taken a big risk coming this close to
you."
Kagome was staring at the weirdo the whole time, and when that was said his
mouth didn't open. So was there somebody else? She turned around and saw
three more guys in the doorway.
'Oh shit! I've been set up...' Kagome panicked as she looked around her
classroom for a way to escape.
The three guys came in closer on her, as well as the other weirdo.
Everything was just getting so freaky.
Kagome screamed. "If-if you go through with this the whole school will find
out and you'll be in for it!"
Two of them snickered. "Get real. They're more afraid of scandals than
anything else here."
The third guy eyed her suspiciously. "Don't be so stupid. You've played
around before, right?"
Not knowing what made her do this, Kagome was so angry she made a fist and
swung as hard as she could, punching the third idiot right across the face.
"Don't underestimate me, rich boy." She told him. "I'm not going to let a
guy I don't love lay a finger on me."
"Sounds like a challenge..." Said the first oddball she met.
Using this time as a distraction, she whizzed by the other guys and dived
out the door.
"GET HER!" Screamed one of them.
Running for her life down the hallway, she found her feet getting more and
more tangled. It wasn't easy to run in socks on a slippery floor.
'KYAAAHHH! Please don't tell me this is for real!'
Kagome could still hear the guys gaining, and all of a sudden a hand tugged
on her hair, sending her flat on her face.
"Hah! Got her!" Screamed one guy who pinned her down.
"Great! Hold her down!" Another yelled.
Kagome was screaming and kicking, but it was no use. They were too strong
for her, especially when it was four against one.
"GET OFF ME YOU MORONS! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Kagome screamed for dear life.
"What are you doing?" Came the same comforting voice all of a sudden.
All four guys stopped and looked up at the mystery man. Kagome could see
slightly from the side of her eyes, it was Sesshoumaru.
'Thank goodness...I'm safe!' She thought, before she remembered something
he had sad earlier.
'...I'm not interested in other people's problems...'
Kagome held her eyes closed, tight. 'It's over for me...'
The four guys yelled. "Sesshoumaru! Inuyasha told us to do this..."
Kagome's eyes widened.
Sesshoumaru snapped. "Let her go."
"Huh? But-"
"I SAID, LET HER GO!" Sesshoumaru demanded.
Instantly the people holding her down all scampered away.
Kagome sat up and stared at Sesshoumaru. "...Thank you."
He just looked at her and said. "Don't get the wrong idea. I just dislike
this sort of thing."
Sesshoumaru swung around and paced off. Leaving Kagome sitting in the
middle of the hallway, crying.
'Even if my desk or my shoes disappear, it's ok. I'll get over it. I just
don't know how to respond to this kind of kindness.' Kagome smiled.
