Hello, good evening, and welcome... as the great Alan Wicker used to say. Once again, you have happened upon the Hamster Times - although, you may have noticed something a little different about it. Yes! After 5 great issues, we've decided to change things a bit.

Gone are the chunky buttons and main index, replaced with a new funky icon bar at the top, and bottom, of each page - allowing quick and easy shortcuts to any section of the HT to be accessed quicker than you can say "My, darn tooting that's quick!"

Why did we do this? Well, our market research department had a chat with a few of our readers and asked them what they wanted out of the Hamster Times. Well, like everyone who conducts market research, we ignored everything they said and did this instead. But of course, we're open to all comments. Do you like the new look? Do you think we can do better? Whatever you think, drop us a line (via the letters(lettuce) page and let us know what you want out of us, life, the universe and everything.

Life, as they say, is like a box of chocolates. Some bugger always gets there before you and eats all your favourites - leaving you only the coffee creams which you Loath with a passion. But what can you do, well, short of whacking everyone who has designs on your favourite chocolate sweeties over the head with your patented "Bing, Bang, Bhong" Stick - which of course will never do - you loose too many friends that way as it is... And talking about Friends... Have you read the photostory yet? Have you heard me sing? Would you like to?
