'jasonbenj' AKA Jason Beange was born in the early 70's in Canada. Originally from Ontario, he moved to the West Coast as soon as it was possible. He attended ECIAD (Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design) for four long years, where he received his diploma;major in Fine Arts, minor in Design.
He has participated in many events over the years, some of which are as follows:

the Wearable Art Exhibition, where he was both model and contributing artist
and the Grad Show 99

A split show entitled "Black Light" exploring the usage of optical effects, at DV8
A group show of modern, young artists at the Purple Onion
A solo show entitled "Real Errata" focusing on figurative work, at the Living Room

As well, he has been involved in many other projects including:
having his art featured in the film "A Girl Is A Girl", shown at the VIFF 99
winning the British Airways Chalk Drawing competition
being a finalist in the Photographer's Forum Annual College Photo contest
and ,of course, creating Internet sites to showcase his art

Recently, his work has been entered on the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts website, in the section entitled "Gallery 67".
