CWG1 Week 6
Read: Pg. 59-70
Thoughts for the Week:
If you don't see God in the profane and the
profound, you're missing half the story. (60)
Nothing exists without a reason understood and
approved by God. (61)
Hitler went to heaven. (61)
Harm is not a necessary ingredient to healing. (62)
If there were such a thing as sin, this would be
it: to allow yourself to become what you are because
of the experience of others. (62)
I do not want your worship, I do not need your
obedience, and it is not necessary for you to
serve Me. (64)
I desire for the whole life process to be an
experience of constant joy, continuous creation,
neverending expansion and total fulfillment in each
moment of now. (65)
Everything in life is holy. (68)
Look for the answers to these questions:
1. Why is it dangerous for us to think God looks
or sounds only one way? (59-60)
2. What is repulsive to God? (60)
3. Can we create anything which is outside God's
plan? (61)
4. Why did God create us? (61)
5. What is evil? (61)
6. What are our ideas about right and wrong? (62)
7. What is the one reason to change the thoughts
which create Who We Are? (62)
8. Why do we deny our own experience in favor of
what we've been told to think? (63)
9a. Does God have needs? (65)
b. Desires? (65)
10. What is "desire"? (65)
11. What does God desire? (65)
12. What are the Five Attitudes of God? (65-66)
13. How long should we hold on to our values? (66)
14. What is the root of every problem we experience? (69)
Things to Think About:
What are the implications of the assertion that "Hitler
went to heaven"? Do you think we are supposed to condone
what he did because it was part of God's plan? What benefit
can we derive from having had such a thing happen in our
recent history?
The numbers in parenthesis refer to the pages of
Conversations with God, Book 1 by Neale Donald Walsch
on which this information can be found.
