Readings for Week 2
Read: Pages 13-27
Thoughts for the Week:
In life, you do not have to do anything.
It is all a question of being. (14)
Everything you do, do out of sincerity or the
benefit of the action is lost. (15)
Whatever you choose for yourself, give to
another. (17)
Whatever you are being, you are creating. (17)
You may assume that if a thing happens to you,
it is perfect that it did so--for nothing
escapes perfection in God's world. (23)
The choices of spirit are always the highest
choice. (23)
In truth, love is all there is. (24)
Look for the answers to these questions:
1. How can we set the creative process into
action? (14)
2. What do states of mind do? (15)
3. How can you attract what you desire to be if
you don't already have what you need
in order
to be it? (15)
4. What must you have about a thing in order
to create it as a permanent aspect of
your
being? (16)
5. Why does giving something away cause you to
experience that you had it? (17)
6. Why is sincerity so important when giving to
another what you choose for yourself?
(17)
7. Will God interfere with our deepest desire if
it is something that could cause us
serious
harm or death? (20)
8. When we bring harm to ourselves, do we always
consciously choose to do so? (20)
9. Why do we draw to ourselves the events that we
do? (21)
10. What must you do if you want your life to settle
down? (21)
11. Who has created the perfect design of your
life? (22)
12. What part of you always makes the highest
choice? (23)
13a. What is a "Triune Being"? (23)
b. What happens when the choices of these three parts
of you conflict? (23)
14a. What are the five natural emotions? (24)
b. Which two of these sponsor all our thoughts? (24)
c. And of these two, which one is all there really
is? (24)
15. What does grief allow us to do? (25)
16. What does anger allow us to say? (25)
17. What does envy motivate us to do? (26)
18. What is the purpose of natural fear? (26)
19. How does natural love become "unnatural"? (27)
20. What do the natural emotions help us to do? (27)
Things to Think About:
How often do you make choices out of a sense of
obligation or because it is "the right thing to do"
in the eyes of society? Have you ever followed the
suggestion of your higher self to choose NOT to do
this? What happened? How did you feel about it?
The numbers in parenthesis after the quotes
and questions refer to the pages of CWG 3 on
which this information is found.
