Readings for Week 26

Read: Pages 298-307

Thoughts for the Week:

The degree to which a culture is evolved is
demonstrated by the degree to which it labels a
being or an action "shameful" or "guilty". (301)

There is only One Soul, One Being, One Essence. (304)

Look for the answers to these questions:

 1.  Do HEB's experience "shame" or "guilt"? (299)
 2.  Why would HEB's not want to do that which they have
demonstrated an inability to do? (299)
 3.  From where are guilt and shame imposed on a
      being? (301)
 4.  Why do HEB's not compete? (302)
 5.  Why did God create us? (305)
 6.  What are the tools with which God works? (305)
 7.  Why have we done enough simply by taking physical
      form? (305)
 8.  What is death? (306)
 9.  From the vantage point of HEB's, why does our system
      violate the common good? (306)
10. When are we in the presence of God? (307)
11. When we are in the presence of God, would we ever
think of keeping from God that which is God's? (307)

Things to Think About:

Have you ever been made to feel guilt? Shame? Have you
ever attempted to make another feel guilty or shameful?
What do we seek to gain by doing so? How do you deal
with someone who is seeking to impose guilt or shame on
you?

The numbers in parenthesis after the quotes
and questions refer to the pages of CWG 3 on
which this information is found.
