"One day a friend of mine from art school in Boston brought a young entrepreneur over to my studio to look at my work. We hit it off, and spent the next couple of hours getting drunk and talking about art. Chris - the entrepreneur - decided he wanted to commission me to do a painting for his house. He wanted something that both he and I could relate to. After some serious discussion we settled on Bob Marley. I think it was a good choice." |
