Comments: Your poetry is wonderful! Your site is one of the most
positive I've found to date. I was diagnosed with panic
disorder two weeks ago, my first attack about 7 weeks ago.
I was on buspar for almost 5 weeks. Didn't help. I
switched to paxil 3 days ago and it seems to be doing the
trick. I'm going after this with every ounce of strength
I've got: medication, biofeedback, psychotherapy, altering
my diet, surfing the net. I'm somewhat agorophobic; I feel
safe at home (although I've had attacks at home). I can't
drive to work, but 75% of the time, can tolerate the 45 min.
ride (my partner has been wonderful about driving me). This
can't last. It isn't fair to my partner, and it's not getting
me anywhere (no pun intended!). My family, friends and
employer have been tremendously supportive as well. BIG help!
I drove about 10 miles today, with my partner in the passenger
seat. It's a start. More each day.
I will be back to your site,
