I am 43 years old and have been dealing with panic attacks sinse I was 22. Never really understood why I started having them but find myself wanting to get through this now, once and for all. Over the last 2 years I was diagnosed and disabled with Multiple Sclerosis. Sinse then I have desperately been searching for help to get over these panic attacks, but find that they seem to be stronger these days, probably because of the MS. My panics and fears have not been as bad as what I have read about other people. I am still in the early stages of attacking my fears. You are right when you say that you have to set goals to make yourself "push through" this time in your life. I went to a seminar about 2 years ago about panic and anxiety and ended up buying the self-help home study course. I would highly recommend it. It helps to see what other people go through what I have. I have sole custody of my two kids, a girl 17 and boy almost 14. I am 40 years old. I want so much to find someone to love me and accept me for who I am. My ex left for another woman. I really dont think he could handle the way I was. I suffer from panic, anxiety, agoraphobia. I can go out some now, but not alone. I dont like being home alone and out alone. I live in the downstairs part of my parents house with my two kids. They took the upstairs apartment. I am Luvox. I used to be on Imiprimine, but when I started getting OCD's from the anxiety I switched to Luvox. I have had this since I was pregnant with my daughter back in 1979. |

Record 110 Name: clare mckenna Website: Referred by: Word of Mouth From: australia Time: 1997-10-20 03:35:00 Comments:hello my new friend eileen wow you sure do have a great page set up here. like i said in my other mesage to you i thought i was alone with these problems. its great to know i am not alone. infact a good friend of mine who i have known for a few years told me she gets panics too, its amazing there is 2.2 million australians that have got what we have. i am 31 and got married around two yeas ago, thank goodness my husband paul is learning to undrstand what i am going through and is helping me. yeah i have to agree with you on the point that laughter is the best medicine, if we didnt have it im sure we would all go crazy eh? i have a sister that has manic depressin and she is always telling to not laugh about my condition but what else can you do? i am learning more and more about panics and the rest by reading books, are you on any medication? i am on xanax and imipramine, i just started imipramine i was on doxipin before that. my docor sort of freaked out when i went toxic on doxipin he had got my levels up too much 650mgs every niht. i was sick i mean i was throwing up and blood was coming out of my nose. so i changed docors and he put me on imipramin so for the last week i have been trying to adjust to the change in medication. what do you think of the medical proffession? i think they like to play god most of the time they have your life in their hands, but anyway thats a whole new thing we can talk about later ok s a quick quote"smile and the whole world smiles with you cry and youll cry alone" love to hear from you again clare |
