In Sickness...

To save time, I'm not changing the backgrounds here.


Had lunch with Remington and Zoe at school, which was nice. But by the afternoon...Remington got sick. To the point where (gasp!) he didn't go to lab meeting, and canceled a sushi party with Zoe (double gasp). I went to check on him before going to Sudwerk, and he was lying around all hot and moany. Awwww. It was pretty weird for me to actually want to be around a sick person- normally I'm quite paranoid about catching things. Though in this case, I think it'd be too late to worry about that sort of thing. Felt kinda bad that I wanted to be around him, seeing as he wanted to be alone (he said that most of the time, but sometimes changed his tuen). We fought on IRC for an hour over whether or not I could come over and bring some cold remedies. He didn't want me to catch it, I said it's too late, he admitted that he wanted to see me, so I made a run over before Sudwerk (which was fun). He wanted me to pick up some orange juice, and to call him from the party I was going to be at (um, ok...) Did that, and when I returned for a bit I really wanted to stay with him instead of partying- but he woudln't let me, said he couldn't sleep if I was around (gee, thanks). Melissa thought I should stay too (this was on IRC again), but he won.

He wanted me to come over to his place tomorrow and I could do my work there. While that would be difficult, I would have done it...but he felt guilty for bailing on Zoe and thought he should go there anyway, and I should just go over for a few hours (sigh). I want them to see each other, but I don't like the idea of him being sick and taking the train. Grrr.

The party was being thrown by my neighbor (how convenient), but it was boring. If you weren't in ECS 40, you'd have no clue. Alex, Sarah's teacher (well, he's 23, but they ran out of profs) came, and well...

I left early, and Matt could tell why. "You want to go talk to your man, don't you?" Yeah, well...So I talked to Remington for a bit and went to bed. Sarah came into my room around four and told me Alex liked her too and she was going to his place tonight...ai yi yi.
