Candide are three men and a drum machine. They are Nathan Girvan, who sings, James Merrifield, who plays the guitar, and Andrew McGregor who plays the bass guitar. They are originally from the south-west of England, and play guitar-based pop songs. They met at school, but formed the band after recently finishing university.
