Olivia Winifred Marshall, like her older sister Victoria, felt a strong connection to Liberty Creek. She doesn't remember much of her life before moving from
England. She is intelligent, but never enjoyed learning or intellectual things. She only speaks English and French. Olivia preferred
working outdoors--riding and training horses and working with the cattle were her favorite activities. She was never interested in men
until Victoria's wedding when Olivia was fifteen. Olivia was the maid of honor and Joe Kincaid was the best
man. After the ceremony, Joe, eighteen, asked her to dance. From that day on, Olivia wore dresses more often and began doing more
ladylike things. Joe and Olivia were instantly in love. They were finally given permission to marry when Olivia was
nearly seventeen and Joe was just twenty. Olivia resembles Victoria in most ways, but is just slightly shorter with dark blond hair.
She still enjoys wearing pants much of the time, and prefers ranching activities to a lady's activities. She and Joe had one son, Joey,
whom they had nearly eleven months after marrying. Olivia is expecting another, but left town for England despite her dangerous
pregnancy when she discovered her husband's infidelity, taking Grace with her, discovering a
long-forgotten love for the country of her birth. She prematurely gave birth to baby Faith at Stancliff Manor, but Faith was too weak to survive longer than a few weeks. When Joe finally came for her, she was
too weak to fight him anymore. After returning to Liberty Creek and staying at Belleterre for several weeks, Olivia made the decision
to travel to Australia and stay with her Uncle Richard. The decision was made shortly before,
to her surprise, Stuart MacKenzie asked her to keep Carolina, the baby she
had as a result of her one-night affair with Joe. Olivia agreed, nicknaming the child Carey, after her cousin.
After her prolonged stay in Australia, she will soon return to Liberty Creek with Joey and Carey.
