~ My Family ~
These are the people who made me what I am! They are a part of me...and I am a part of them...no matter if they are here or far, far away. The love we share is eternal, and I will cherish them always! The most important life lesson I've learned is to say "I Love You" to the people you love...often!

On her only trip to California, 1971

My beloved Grandmother... Her faith, her family and her flowers were the joys of her heart, and this gentle woman was the joy of my life!

Gary, Ind., Christmas Morning, 1968

My beautiful Mother... I never realized how much I missed and needed her until I was grown (I lost her when I was 17). She is the speed in my typing fingers, the force behind the words that spring from my mind, the strength of my character, and the freedom of spirit in my soul!

California, 1972

In many ways, the model for all other men in my life - my wonderfully talented and handsome Father, BOBBY PETERSON PRICE, SR. (1930-1983) He is the drummer who keeps the beat of my heart in rhythm...he is the music, the dreamer and the gypsy in me!

~The Chicago Branch of my Family Tree ~
I have three older sisters and two older brothers...all but one of whom live in Chicago (My brother Ron lives in Washington, DC) Here are some pics from my trip home in 1996...

Chicago, 1996

You've heard of the Spice Girls? Well, we're the PRICE Girls! Our Daddy's daughters, all together again for the first time in nearly 20 years! Lookin' GOOD! (I won't say who's the oldest, but I'M the BABY!)

Left to right: WANDA, PATRICIA, Me and REBA

Chicago, 1996

He's a writer, composer, vocalist, keyboardist, arranger, and lyricist...Chicago's answer to Babyface! (He's also the oldest...) My handsome & talented big brother, BOBBY JR.!

Chicago, 1996

<------My beautiful sister Reba ("Short Stuff") and her family: her younger sons LaDarien & Tommy (my fellow Jackson 5 fanatic), and their father, Thomas. At right is her oldest, Bobby III. Reba's the soul food gourmet of the family...if it's meant to be cooked, she can put a hurtin' on it!

Chicago, 1996

Here's our own "Ms. Glamour Girl", my sister Patricia. Her sense of fashion, style and elegance belongs on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills...they could take some lessons from this girlie-girl...and I'm sure they will, soon! Miss Pat's star is about to EXPLODE! Look out, world!------>

<-----Now, this gorgeous girl (holding our niece, Rose) is my sister Wanda, the closest to me in age (and the one I look most like...check the dimples!). After three kids, this woman can still give an 18-year old kid HELL on a basketball court! These are two of her daughters, LaRhonda ('Stick') and SheWanda ('Pookie') (Black folks and our nicknames!)

The DC Family - UPDATED 4/5/01!!!

This is a picture of my little Divas LONG time ago (1995)...time to see them all grown up! And...it's time to show y'all my WHOLE DC Family - of which I'm now a true part! (I moved to Washington in February, 2001...best move I EVER made!)

My dear brother Ron, and his beautiful wife Toni...they gave me the freedom to get it together in a whole new way...

Here's some recent shots of my Chicago Family (West Side Crew), taken when I went home in June 2K (for the funeral of my beloved cousin, Minister Michael Murray...Love you always, Fuzzy Green!)
