Maybe one of my most complicated pictures, yet actually fairly simple. I made
this picture mainly to test my new "Treeification" process, or adding trees to
a mountain slope. The process is simple: First make a terrain and edit it as
you see fit, and give it a rocky texture. Then Duplicate that terrain and
traslate it downward (-Y)slightly. Then take the new terrain
(Tree Terrain or TT) into the terrain editor. Here, you might want to increase
the resolution of TT, and then add some Basic Noise (read: trees). Leave the
Editor and then add some kind of Green texture to TT. The theory is,the noise
from TT will poke up through the Rock Terrain much like trees appear to poke up
out of mountainsides.
The reflection in the window was made by projecting the face by way of a Light Gel. I probably spent the most time trying to get the reflection right.
