Lost Treasure




This image came out of a picture I've had in my mind for a while after reading a novel by Stephen Lawhead. The story is of Merlin and in one scene, Merlin has a vision of seeing a sword lying on the bottom of a stream.

I made the sword myself but the hand was taken from the The Avalon Object Archive. The hand's texture is merely the first wood preset but with the texture scaling set uniformly to zero.

I did a little touch-up in a low-end photo editor to fix some of the gaps left in the fingers by the model.
