GroundWork Coffee House is a very unique place, not only in the town of Leavenworth Kansas, but in the area. The facility is run by a dedicated volunteer staff and a family of supportive bands. GroundWork is all ages however, is visited by young and old alike. We focus on making a clean, safe and fun environment for people to enjoy art, music and games. GroundWork makes patrons and the bands that perform feel like their at home. We provide full sound reinforcement for bands as well as a large stage, Pool tables and other games to pass the time and comfortable couches to site and read, do homework or just chat with friends. GroundWork only has three main rules: Pay at the door, No drugs or Alcohol and respect the staff, customers and facility.
Artist are also a common site at GroundWork. Artist from all over the area participate in the artistic decoration of the coffee houses interior. From paintings, metal sculptures, collages to our mural in progress on our main wall.
Coffee: No, we don't have it yet. Soon the coffee servery will be built offering our patrons gourmet coffee, expresso, cappuccino and other specialty coffee drinks. Energy drinks, juices, soda, water as well as snacks will also be on the menu.
