Have you ever
wondered what it is like to Scuba Dive? Imagine the sensation of
weightlessness and being able to breathe whilst under water.
Adventures in Scuba
has designed a try-dive session to allow non-divers the chance to experience the
pleasure of scuba diving.
Why Discover Scuba/Discover Scuba Diving?
As soon as you Discover Scuba or Discover Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an
internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills
from the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba adventure.
If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited
to the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.
What do I need to start?
 | Minimum age: 8 |
 | A completed and signed Discover Scuba/Discover Scuba Diving statement
(available from the dive centre) |
What will I do?
Students will be taken through a
brief introduction to Scuba diving after which they will experience diving at
first hand in a pool. An Instructor will be present at all times keeping a
watchful eye. All of our Instructors are members of the Professional Association
of Diving Instructors (PADI), the world’s largest and most popular diver
training agency.
How long will it take?
Get ready to dive today. Whether you watch the short PADI Discover
Scuba video, or are briefed with the Discover Scuba Diving Flip Chart, you'll
enter the water quickly and ready for your scuba adventure. Our sessions
run either on Sunday at midday, or Monday evenings, other times are available
upon request.
What will I need?
 | Remember to bring your swimwear, towel, and a T-shirt to wear in the pool.

How much does it cost?
£15. This includes the use of
all equipment and air. Should you decide to gain your passport to the underwater
world by taking the Open Water Diver course with us, this Fee will be deducted from your
course. We run all our courses at our Dive Centre in Fobbing
and our confined water sessions take place at Corringham Leisure Centre.
