30. Asa David Simmons⁸ Chandler (Henry Farmer⁷, Joseph G.⁶, Joseph Ii⁵, Joseph I⁴, Robert Jr.³, Robert², John¹) was born in Reed Creek, Franklin (Hart), Co, GA December 16, 1835. Asa died April 30, 1894 in Lavonia, Franklin Co, GA, at 58 years of age. His body was interred in Lavonia City Cem, Franklin Co, GA.

He married Lou Emily Roberts. Lou was born in Franklin Co, GA May 11, 1845. Lou died December 16, 1925 in Lavonia, Franklin Co, GA, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred in Lavonia City Cem, Franklin Co, GA. Named for David Simmons, a prominent Baptist Minister at Reed Creek Baptist Church. He served in the Conferate States Army with his 4 brothers in Co A, 24th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Northern Virginia as a Private August 24, 1861 to April 22, 1865.

Asa David Simmons Chandler and Lou Emily Roberts had the following children:

66 i. Zenobiah⁹ Chandler was born in Hart Co, GA circa 1868. Zenobiah died in Franklin Co, GA. She married twice. She married J J Willard circa 1884. She married Frank Sewell circa 1898. (See Frank Sewell for the continuation of this line.)

+ 68 iii. Henry Holt Chandler was born December 12, 1876.

69 iv. Lula Chandler was born in Franklin Co, GA May 26, 1878. Lula died August 10, 1966 in Lavonia, Franklin Co, GA, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Lavonia City Cem, Franklin Co, GA. She married Charles A Addington. Charles was born in NC October 16, 1867. Charles died December 20, 1930 in Franklin Co, GA, at 63 years of age.
