Maybe One Day,
Hurt,
Heads - You Win, Tails - I Lose,
Untitled,
While the Demon Waited
Maybe One Day...
Maybe one day
We’ll no longer have to hope
Maybe we’ll be together
and have to wish no more
Maybe it wouldn’t matter
that it never used to be true
Maybe we would forget
how distance is so cruel
Maybe all our dreams
would finally come true
Maybe you wouln’t be so distant
as I’d be held by you
Maybe I would look
deep into your eyes
Maybe you would see
that there aren’t any lies
Maybe it would happen
or remain just a dream
Maybe we would realize
that it’s just as it seems

Hurt
I wanna hurt you
like you hurt me so many times
Making you feel the pain
of being torn apart
I wanna see you suffer
I live for that moment
I want the worst for you
I’d love to see you broken
I want you to be me
to see things my way
to be confined in this hell
and be allowed nothing to say
I want you to feel
all my pain and sorrow
But I know even if you did
you’d still be the same tomorrow
-Sept 4/97

Heads - you win, Tails - I lose
Heads - you win,
Tails - I lose
I can’t stop the coin
from favoring you
I can’t bacause I’m small
I can’t because I’m weak
I can’t because I’m used
I can’t because I’m me
Heads - you laugh
Tails - I cry
I keep thinking it over
Asking myself why
I keep asking why me?
I keep asking why cry?
I keep asking why now?
I keep asking why try?

Untitled
If short years ago you sat me down
and told me what today would be like
I’d have laughed straight to your face
because I didn’t think this could be my fate
It would’ve seemed unreal and bizarre
and looking ahead it was just too far
But if you ask me this question today
I would definitely know what to say
I wouldn’t laugh and say "yeah right"
instead I would break down and cry
Not believing that I could go on
Unless this isn’t the path to go on
And if you ask me about tomorrow
it’s just an outline, without color
A puzzle with the pieces missing
Obviously there’s no use in asking
I can’t predict my future, not change my past
But the present is here, passing fast
While I stand by wathing my life
Fall apart before my very own eyes
-Sept 8 - Sept 11/97

While the Demon Waited
My breath caught in my throat
And my heart jumped a beat
I don’t get why you still
have that effect on me
It was a lifetime ago
And lasted just a second
And I know it’s still there
After it has ended
Release me from the spell
It became pure hatred
A bloody heart and a white rose
While the demon waited
-Sept. 18-19/97
