I swear if I turn on any music channel one more time and see one more lame ass video featuring Ja Rule or Nelly, I'm going to launch a shoe through the tv. I'm just so sick of hearing either of those two sing/rap/whatever the fuck they try to do. It's just really starting to irritate me.
The best part? I used to kind of like both of them. Now they irritate the piss out of me. Go figure.
I thought maybe I'd feel better by throwing that out there, but I actually feel worse. My stomach is acting up again, but this is just because I haven't taken my medicine enough today. I really never had time to. It was a pretty busy day and a somewhat frustrating day at that.
For starters, registering for classes should not be as complicated and as aggravating as it has become. Not only do you need six forms of id just to prove that you live where you say you live, but you also have to have six different forms to apply for financial aid that I've already applied for.
I went in with 11 pieces of paper with information on it and I came out with about 40. I still haven't quite figured out what it all is. I did manage to register for four classes, but it was quite the headache.
The best part was when I was told that I never had my transcripts from Brunswick sent to Tri-C, which is complete bullshit since I remember doing that THREE years ago myself. I went to BHS, asked them to send the transcripts, and specifically remember being told by the college that they had them on file.
Now they're gone, sucked into what has become a black hole of education. What goes in doesn't necessarily stay in and what does stay in, well, it's not right.
They still have me as out of county, which is kind of stupid since I've lived in Cuyahoga County for more than two years now, but evidently you can't just walk in with one bill or your license to prove it. No, you need three forms of proof that you live in the house you claim to live in.
Um, what?!
You only need two forms of and kind of ID to get your social security card or your license, but you need three specific forms of ID to be considered in county?
I must have missed something somewhere.
The best part was the girl who was explaining this to my mom and me. Now, I know a lot of blondes are smart, helpful, and very friendly. This added with good looks like the girl who was talking to us should make things easier.
Now, when we ask a question about why it's necessary to have so many different things, we are not asking for you to repeat WHICH forms we should find. Now, we asked this girl, who was incredibly attractive, ten different questions. The answer to all ten, regardless of what we asked?
"You need two forms of ID from one year ago and your most recent form of ID with your address."
I could've asked her 2+2 and gotten that previous response for an answer. That was all she kept saying, as if she was specifically trained to just give one answer.
It was very mind-boggling to say the least and I just can't wait to go back tomorrow with my proof and see what holds me up next. If it ain't one thing, it's another and it's all designed to make you crazy, which is probably why most students want to get out of Tri-C as soon as possible.
Well, you can count me as one of them now.
When asked if I was going to be backed next fall, I just let out a smart-ass laugh and walked away.
But in anycase, I did manage to register for chemistry, college composition, biology, and I think that was it. I wanted to take a math, but the only one that would work for me was full. So, that kind of screwed that up. I'll just take either a night class or take it during the summer.
It was fun today, let me tell you.
Now, I was already tired to begin with, so this only wore me out more. But the fun was just beginning. Upon getting home, I decide to give myself a haircut for my sides. I had just changed into my night clothes when my mom informs me that I need to go get the dogs.
It was a pretty smooth ride up until we got back, when a stray cat went running in front of the car and Shade decided to try and run after it. This involved running over me while I'm driving and making an attempt at lunging out the window. Thankfully, I grabbed a hold of him and threw him, yes threw him, back into the backseat.
Now I was really crabby.
The best news of all? Tomorrow before I can go to Cedar Point, I need to go back to Tri-C, show them proof that I live in the county, set up some sort of payment arrangement, then get on the way. I will be attempting to get this out of the way early if possible. I'm not losing half my day to this fucking school and its ass-backwards way of handling things.
**DEEP BREATH**
It's been a long day though. I've been kind of sick for the last couple of days and it's really worn me down, plus I managed to pull something in my left thigh that's made walking a bit of a chore at times. The stairs are the worst for me right now. It doesn't hurt much, just enough to remind me that it's there.
As usual, I have no idea how it happened.
Some minor updates...I know Come Again hasn't been updated in over a month now. If you can come up with something that's worthwhile to write in there, feel free. I do have an idea floating around right now concerning something I saw on tv today, but I'm not sure how much I can make out of it.
In the meantime, don't look for any kind of major updates. I am working on some sort of awards thing, but that's so vague and so far off in the future that I couldn't even try and give you any information on what that's going to be like. I think it's basically going to be my picks in music, movies, sports, etc. Again, who knows if anything will actually happen. I'm very good at coming up with ideas, then not following through on them.
I'm still trying to locate the webcam software. Until I find it, the only new pictures of me will come courtesy of our own doing using normal cameras, so don't expect much. I also can't remember if there are pictures of me in the current camera that I'm working on, but I'd say fat chance. My mom might have some sneaking around though.
Finally...Did I mention that I'm freaking tired? Cause I am. And my damn stomach hurts again, dammit.
