MY LIFE - NOVEMBER

Today was one of those days where nothing happened, I didn't feel that great in a couple ways, and I was out of it mentally for the most part. I'm sorry if anyone talking to me tonight felt cheated or anything like that. I just didn't have it in me today to really talk about anything.

My back's been bothering me a little bit for a couple of days now, which affects my mood a little bit. It started last Thursday and has been off and on since then. I think it's from standing and going back and forth at a pretty good rate, but I'm not really sure on that one. Whatever it is, I hope that I get over it soon since I don't need to have any problems like this.

I work the next two days though, 2-10 on Monday and 3-11 on Tuesday, so that will probably test me. If it is work, I'll feel a whole lot worse after Tuesday. If not, then I'll just have to try and figure out if something else might be causing my back problems, such as maybe the way I'm sleeping or something along those lines. Like I said though, I don't really know what the problem is.

This is getting annoying though. Like my knees, my back has started to become a bit of a problem over the last few months. If it isn't one thing, it's been another. It took a week and a half to get rid of my last knee problem back in September and when my back bothers me, it's usually for a couple of days. I know I should probably have those things checked out, but I don't have any time.

I'll have to make time though if those problems continue to occur. It won't do me any good if something serious happens to either my knees or my back, with my back being my major concern now. That's an area you don't mess around with, so if this keeps up, I'll have it checked out.

I'm sure my knees are slightly damaged, but that may not be true. I don't know and I'm not going to worry about them unless they give me some serious trouble down the road.

The Browns won today and finally showed that they can play a little bit of football on offense for once. For the first time in 14 quarters, the offense scored a touchdown and the defense forced four turnovers. It was a good game to watch, although I watched and wondered if they were going to stick with that prevent defense that's so famous in the Cleveland area. All Browns fans remember it was the prevent that was beat many years ago by the Broncos in the AFC Championship game, so I wondered how much longer they would stick with it.

Thankfully, they used it for only one serious, the only time the Patriots scored a touchdown. The Browns won 19-11 and are now 3-8, assuring a better record than last year. But I didn't really care about the record. I just wanted to see some results, which I've seen a little of, but not as much since Tim Couch, Eric Rhett, Jim Pyne, and every other major player who's been injured.

I do like the defense though. They continue to impress even though receivers on the opposition are still too open at times. Four more sacks by the front four will make that easier to swallow though, as does the interception of Drew Bledsoe, who shouldn't have played with the bad thumb.

It's a game that might get the team in the right direction. We'll see though. The schedule's tougher though.

The Cavs have also surprised, going 5-1 in their first 6 games, something I didn't think was possible. I'll wait and see before I decide if this is a fluke or if it's a legit team I've been seeing.

They've been predicting at least a little snow will fall this week, probably Tuesday night, Wednesday, and maybe into Thursday. Then they're saying more snow could arrive by the latter part of the weekend and this has left some people feeling a little skitterish. I've heard people say that they aren't ready for snow, that it's too early for snow.

I wrote about this a long time ago, but I can't remember if it's one of the old entries or one of the old editorials that contained that. I'm thinking it was in an old editorial though since I have been through the archives, which there aren't a whole lot of to be frank, and I don't recall seeing it. Since that's the case, I'll be writing about snow and what I think of it a little more over the course of the week.

I like snow. I'll be honest. There's something about the snow falling, how peaceful it is, that makes me a little more relaxed. I tend to be more relaxed, more reflective during the winter months because of this. I can sit and just watch snow falling and feel at ease. I've always like the winter months, the colder weather. It's just how I am. I'm someone who would like to cuddle and winter presents the perfect opportunities.

I also tend to get more days off during the winter because of holidays and vacation time that I tend to use during the winter. I've always liked it though. Despite some adventures driving in it, I've enjoyed snow falling and find it a very peaceful aspect of the weather. It just has a calming affect on me and I've never been one to say "OH NO" when snow's in the forecast.

There's more to it than that, but my back's tightening up on me and I ate some food that was probably spoiled, so that's going to catch up to me. Maybe later this week I'll write more on how I feel, but probably not as much as I wrote a few years ago in that lost entry/editorial.

I'm a deep person. I guess that would make me different from most guys then. I am who I am and I don't intend on changing.
