CAIRNS:

James Cairns and his wife Elizabeth Patterson came from Berwickshire, Scotland to Plympton Township, Lambton County, Ontario in 1842.


GORSALITZ:

John Jacob Gorsalitz, a widower, came from Gorlitz, Germany to Canada with his 3 young children in 1866, he first settled in the Toronto area, then to Wellesley, Ontario and finally settled in Grey Township, Huron County, Ontario.


HELPS:

Henry Helps and his wife Mary Rawlings, came from Frome Somerset, England to Canada in 1832 settling in Plympton Township, Lambton County, Ontario.

LUCAS:

Andrew Lucas and his wife Elizabeth Edwards, came from County Kilkenny, Ireland in 1815 first settling in Beckwith Township, Lanark County, Ontario. In 1835 they moved to Brooke Township, Lambton County, Ontario and there they stayed.

A brother of Andrew's, James Lucas who married Susannah
"Susan" Leach/Leech came over at the same time. They settled in Beckwith and Montague Townships, Lanark County, Ontario, but four of their sons went to Lambton County, Ontario.


ROTH:

Pierre-Philippe Roth and his wife Catherine Lutmann came from Alsace- Lorraine, France then moved to St. Dizier, France.

SAUNDERS:

Thomas Saunders was married to his cousin Jane Saunders. His 2nd wife was Sarah Daley/Daly. They came to Canada from County Kilkenny, Ireland in 1821/1822 and settled in Beckwith Township, Lanark County, Ontario.
