Kate Winslet was born October 5, 1975 in Reading, England, U.K.
  Her eyes are hazel, and her natural hair color is blonde.  She 
  is 5'8" and 123lbs(at least that is what I read).
  Kate's father's name is Roger Winslett, her mother is Sally and 
  her sisters are Beth Winslet and Anna Melissa Winlsett.

    Kate played in the movies: Titanic(1997-director: James  Cameron),
  Hamlet(1996), Jude(1996), Kid in King Arthur's Court(1995),
  Sense and Sensibility(1995),and Heavenly Creatures(1994).
    I have personally have seen Titanic, Kid in King Arthur's Court, 
  and Sense 
  and Sensibility.  I didn't particularly like Sense and  Sensibility,
  Kid in King Aurthur's Court was a cute kids movie (my brothers  and
  sisters liked it), and the Titanic was an awesome movie.

    Because of the movie the Titanic,Kate was nominated the -1998- Oscar
  Award as Best Actress, (won)-1998- Blockbuster Entertainment Award as
  Favorite Actress in a Drama, -1998- Gloden Globe Award as Best
  Performance by an actress in a Motion Picture, -1998- Gloden
  Satellite Award as Best Actress in a Motion Picture, and -1998-
  SGA (Screen Actors Guild Awards) as Outstanding Preformance by a
  Female Actor in a Leading Role.
