THE B|OODY CHAPEL

"Welcome to thee Chapel!
"As you enter, please be sure to leave your
narrow minds, conformist ideals, blind faith and self deceit at the
door. Also, allow me to point out the trash bin as you enter. Toss your
bibles and other religious paraphanelia there, as you will not be
needing them in this chapel.
"Why is this place called a chapel if it is so proudly unholy? Perhaps
because my most sacred beliefs are not of the traditional variety. Just
like anyone else, I have a belief system, and knowing what my beliefs
are is vital in understanding who I am. If you've come this far, you
deserve to know.
"As with most human beings, I occasionally stray from my own chosen rules of
living. Having done so once again recently, I have realized just how
miserable life can be when you are not being true to yourself. I'm sure
everyone who knows me has been reminded of that fact as well, and I wish
to thank them for their patience and understanding while I find my way
back home again. I also wish to thank my parents (yes, I said parents)
for their decision over two decades ago to not baptize me into a
particular religion. I have a great respect for them, for believing that
I should find my own belief system to live by, and for not forcing or
instilling their own religious values onto me. There were many times
while growing up that I felt lost, confused, and like an outcast of
sorts as a result of that. However, I now realize it was all part of my
ongoing seach for not just answers, but answers that made sense to me,
and a way of living that I can truly believe in, and not follow simply
because it is society's accepted way."
Enter Anton LaVey and Satanism
"I will never forget the first time I read the works of Anton LaVey, and
the Satanic Bible. I remember thinking to myself that it was the first
time anything pertaining to religion actually made sense to me. The
more I read, the more I enjoyed what I was reading. I came to discover
that many ofmy own beliefs were already primarily 'satanic' in nature.
It was the first time I felt 'a part of' as far as religion was
concerned. It was almost like being told a really big secret, like
knowing you were part of a really big plan. It was the first real,
honest look at life and sprituality together as one that I had seen that
encouraged people to think or themselves, to be strong instead of weak,
that even made room for all of the humorous parts of life as well. Now,
I must admit, that I still frown upon organized religion as a whole, nor
do I follow the words of Anton LaVey to a tee...but I must also share
with you that embracing the darkness within myself instead of shunning
it, and accepting myself as the human animal that I am has been on of
the greatest things I could have ever done for myself. It has given me
a sense of power I never had before, and provided me with and endless
source of strength.
"It is now that I would like to encourage you to do the same for
yourself...if you can be honest enough with yourself about who you are
and who you want to be. It is not an easy thing for someone to do, let
me tell you. I would never dream of forcing my way onto others, and
wish that they do not do the same to me. Stay out of my way, and I
shall stay out of yours. Just keep this in mind...."
"In the great battle between the weak and the strong, which do you think
will survive? Which side would *you* rather be on?
"You may be wondering why I have not included the actual theories and
beliefs I follow on this page. If you are truly interested, feel free
to drop on by the links page, and find your way to the sites relating to
Satanism that are listed there for you. I have just wanted to give you
an idea of what it has done for me, personally. If anything, maybe I
have given you some insight, opened a few doors, or at the very least,
given you something to think about if maybe you have ever felt the same
way.
"Enjoy the rest of your stay in my chambers.....there is someone I want you to meet in the next room... FOLLOW ME!!!"
