She was born September 29, 1943 and died, November 23, 1994, at the age of 51. Her parents are Eugene and Ann. Ann is still living and Eugene passed away on December 1, 1980. She has 1 sister, Mary Ann and 1 brother, James(both alive).
My mom got married on May 23, 1964 to my Dad. They split up when I was 6, early in the year of 1979. My mom is a special person, raising 6 kids, ages 6-13 by herself and managing a full time job. My mom was diagnosed with Breast cancer sometime in 1985 and battled it for 9 1/2 years(2 days before my son's 2nd birthday). I was really close to her and was considered a "Mama's Boy", I miss her a lot.
She worked as a Bookkeeper/Manager for a copier and fax company. I started working for the same company 1 week before my moms death. Our company was then bought out by Danka, which is where I work now.
My mom enjoyed playing Bingo and flying to Las Vegas. My Grandma and my mom would go about 3-4 times a year. My mom hit big one year on Keno and came home with $3,500. She has won often but not as big. My mom always made sure that us kids were taken care of before anything. She went out on a limb all the time for us. I have many memories of my mom that I will cherish forever.
