It isn't just the runway that's two-sided this season, the face and hair are too. From Barbie doll to rock star and girly to glam, designers left us no choice this year but to look at summer's two faces.
Barbie was the idea behind Michael Kors's look for Celine this season. Here Kirsty Hume, Shalom Harlow, and Amber Valletta sport hair extensions, faux lashes, blue and purple on the eyes, and sweet rosy lips. The end result is beautiful and glam, a fresh revival of what was once considered pretty.
Gucci sprang for a completely new look in hair this season. Models' hair was geled stick-straight and flung out to the sides and in front, for a ratted, rock star appearance. Makeup was kept very matte, with brown eyes, a tan face, and neutral lips.
