Evan and Jaron In Jezebel Magazine

The phrase "up and coming" just dosen't do justice to this dynamic duo. Born and raised in Atlanta, this identical twin/folk-rock pair is showing all the early signs of superstardom. Exhibit A-teen idol looks. The brothers were recently shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber for Vanity Fair, and have more than their fair share of young female admirers. Exibit B-talent. After writing over 250 songs and playing more than 1,000 live shows, Evan and Jaron have pretty much figured out what works. "We really, really enjoy what we do," quips Jaron. At the behest of none other than Jimmy Buffet, Chris Blackwell signed them to Island Records, their first major label (not including their own "A Major Label Record" company, which preceded the signing). Their debut album for the label, entitled "We've Never Heard of You Either," is reminiscent of classic folk-rockers like Simon and Garfunkel, and more recent groups like the Rembrandts. Exhibit C-charisma. And loads of it. Confident (can you tell from their album title?), yet humble, these wise-beyond-their-years 24-year-olds have energy to boot and a youthful appeal that will carry them for a long while. They recently hosted Vh1's number one show "Rock Across America: The Top Ten Countdown," and were profiled on E! Entertainment Television. Dubbed by some "The Indigo Boys," they can only hope to match their Atlanta female counterparts' success.
