Post Reunion News

......SORRY.......
I have been ill for the past several months and have not updated these pages or listed all the new classmates with their respective classes, I hope to begin work on this page very soon. Thanks for your patience.

Please take a moment to read this short message before continuing on.
I would suggest that you spend a moment on this first page
to read about the features and limitations of this site, before locating your High School.
Be sure to view the guestbook and see the hundreds and hundreds
of classmates who have left information here since January 1 1998.
When I add a new school I search to find alumni of that school.
I then send out email to everyone that I find, normally 100 or more,
So in the beginning there may be only one or two entries for your school.
However over a short period of time that list grows rather quickly,
as one classmate tells other friends about the web page, so do not
be discouraged if you only find one or two classmates to begin with.
someone has to be first.

Just follow the links below to your State, City, and High School to find old Classmates.

I just wanted to thank you for making this page. I found a few friends I have not spoken to in over 13 years, and it's like we didn't miss a beat! Just the other day, I ran into an old friend and told him about your page. He was pretty excited and more than willing to help you out. I am too. If there is anything I might be able to help you with, please don't hesitate to ask. Sincerely, CC aka Constant Corpuz Green Run 1984

Your web page project is a terrific way for alumni of PA to find each other and communicate.
Just a few days after logging in to your site, I was contacted by e-mail by
an old classmate I have not seen since '64. It was like stepping into a time machine.
I hope other grads of PA will take advantage of the initiative and work
you'e put into getting the PA web site up and running.

Hi! A friend of mine who went to Kempsville sent me email about this site.
I followed the link, looked for the people from Green Run (my alma mater) and Viola!
There's the name of the ONE person I still consider a friend from my senior class.
I saw her two years ago at our ten-year reunion, but amidst all the partying,
we somehow forgot to exchange addresses. It was a lovely surprise
to find a message from her on the web page. Thanks.

For those of you with the proper plug-in you will be hearing music throughout these pages.
There will be a lot of "oldies", but not all. Perhaps "oldies" is not the proper term.
I heard someone referring to oldies the other day and they were talking about seventies
and eighties music. Lord , I must be getting really old. I guess the music of my era
should be called ancients, or perhaps prehistoric...

Do you know the name of the song that you are listening to now?
It is the theme song from the 1967 movie starring Sidney Poitier as a black school teacher
in a rough London School. His firm and insightful manner of dealing with the students
earns him their respect and trust. Song was recorded by Lulu.

The name of the movie and song is "To Sir With Love"

Hello, and welcome to High School Classmates. The intent of this page is to provide
a means of keeping classmates in touch with one another as the years go by,
and to assist reunion committees in putting together your reunions.
I graduated from Princess Anne High School inVirginia Beach, VA.
in 1959. Most of you, as I did, will find yourself drifting
away from school ties, and friends, over the years. However there will come a time
when you will begin to wonder "whatever happen to my good friend Joe or Susie",
it sure would be nice to talk with him or her and catch up
on old times. But guess what, they moved and no-one knows where they are.

A lot has happened in the couple of weeks this page has been up.
It all began as a Princess Anne High School thing. Then I received a few request
from alumni from a couple of other Va. Beach High Schools. Then I received a
few request from high schools in other states. What it all boils down to is
that I am probably biting off more that I can chew. But I have always taken big
bites out of life. I do have one request. The request is that one person
from each school or graduating class volunteer to be the "Big Kahuna"
of that school or class. All that would involve would be to assist me in getting
your fellow classmates to sign up for that page. Give me info such as your
school colors, or sending general info about your school, find out who is on your
reunion committee and get them listed on your page along with any reunion news.
Thats all there is to it.
Its sort of like being an investigative reporter for a great big metropolitan newspaper...
or being the anchor on the CBS evening news...
Or the person who gets the donuts in the morning...
So do I have any volunteers????????? If not I will continue on,
all alone in this thing called cyberspace, working all hours of the day and night,
neglecting my family, jepordizing my health, and will probably take up drinking and
smoking again. but don't feel bad for me I'll be OK! By the way,
if you become the "Big Kahuna" for your class that entitles you to have,
"Your Baby Picture Posted Here"
Thanks JT

No-one else seemed to want their baby picture here so I put mine here.
