So... that same weekend, my friend and I paid a visit to a wild flower forrest called
Cranbrook Flower Forrest - about 35 minutes west
of Ocho Rios. It's 11 miles of wild flowers, trees and shrubs... with man-made and
natural pools and a river running by. Twice we went. The first time, our visit was
prematurely terminated because of a sudden and heavy downpour of rain. We both got
soaked to the bone since, adventurous as we were, we decided we were gonna follow the
path to the river head... approximately 1 mile's walk. But, if you ask me - it was worth
it.
