Jungle is on! Everyone who checks this knows that the future of dance rests with jungle. As the lines between breaks and house and other styles blur, jungle will remain a style that is it's own, understood by those who come from the underground. Whether it's jazzed up, dark, smart or looped, jungle is jungle. Maybe that's why so few seem to understand or why it hasn't really "caught on" at every party. Who knows? Who cares? What is important is that junglists realize their status in the dance world. The jungle is a dark, misunderstood nieghborhood and will remain that way for a long time. |
