Chris and Jen's Wedding

1-29-01 My dress came in last April, as promised, and it was a bit tight! I was so worried! I just had my first fitting last week, and it fits perfectly now! The only alteration that's necessary is the hem needs to be shortened. I went with Sabrina and her mom (mom).. I found a wonderful veil there, and mom surprised me by buying it for me while I was changing back into my regular clothes! THANKS MOM!

Okay, well, when I decided I was finally ready to start seriously looking at bridesmaids dresses.. I was *unpleasantly* surprised that the ones I had originally wanted had been discontinued. So off we set to find new dresses! I decided to let the girls chose from the dresses below...

Becky will be wearing Plum, and everyone else will be wearing Victorian Lilac, which is a bit "smokier" color than regular lilac. From the sounds of it, everyone will end up with style #2410.

2-15-00 About my dress.... Since it has already been 6 months since I ordered it, I thought I'd give Jeannette's Bridal (in Manassas, VA) a call to see what was going on. They said that it won't be in until at least mid April this year.... Boy, am I glad that I ordered it really early!
