Welcome!

That's me!"Greetings, my fellow adventurer," says a young woman dressed in a navy blue gown. She sits down on a cozy loveseat. "My name is Rosie, and I am owner of this humble abode. Since Z-san ruined the last one in my heart, I tore it down and built one as full of peace, love, and beauty as possible. As well as filling it with the aforementioned, I attempted to cut the black to a minimum, for it reminds me of Z-san and all of the terrible events of the past."

You stare at her: pausing for a second, she stares back and then continues with her story, looking down at her hands, wondering, Have I done something wrong to make this person stare at me so suddenly? You look away as she begins again.

"You see, black reminds me of death, horror, betrayal, and bad vibes. It reminds me of cruelty, anger, hatred. It reminds me of things I wish not to dwell on, for they fill me with so much anger, sadness, and depression that I start screaming, wailing, crying, and hugging my teddy bear all at once. So you shall see little black; you've left all yout hatred, anger, and bitterness behind you already."

Rosie smiles at you. "It's very peaceful here, I assure you," she says, noticing how hesitant you are to believe her speech. "Maybe, in a long while, I'll tell you the story of Z-san and how she hurt me. It's very long, though.."

You look around at the room you're standing in and notice a locket hanging on the door. On closer examination, you find that it is not a full locket, but merely half of one. "Why is there only half a locket here?" you ask Rosie.

"Because a very dear friend, Katrina, of Kat's Keep, has the other half," Rosie says softly. "Katrina-chan is a very very dear friend of mine." Her eyes fill up with tears. "She helped me during periods of pain and was..is..a very loyal friend whom I hold close to my heart."

Rosie stands up and wipes away the tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry to leave, but I do have some appointments to keep. I have to go and visit Katrina-chan and Marjorie-chan, as well as pick up a few books and some groceries. Feel free to wander around, and may the angels watch over you and keep you safe!" You watch, astounded, as Rosie takes the locket from the door, puts it on, and leaves.

Glancing around the room, you notice a great many things. Upon the west wall are numerous awards and diplomas; everything from passing fifth grade to swimming ribbons to figure skating medals to a community leader training diploma. You wonder how many of the awards have true meaning and how many do not; you decide to ask Rosie about them when she comes back.

The north wall has papers coating the entire wall. Many are drawings of anime characters, some of which are obviously from Sailor Moon and others which are unidentifiable. Some are drawings of flowers and horses. There are essays, tests, reports that have been tacked haphazardly to the wall. One thing that sticks out in your mind is an article clipped from a magazine, entitled "The Meaning Of Life." You smile as you read it, for you are beginning to understand the woman you are dealing with here.

The east wall has a huge window, with a picturesque view of the countryside. You see rolling hills, beautiful green grass, and a path leading up through the hills. A cherry tree sits about 100 meters away from the window, and slightly to the south, as so it is not blocking the view. You imagine that the cherry tree is Rosie's favorite thinking spot, and that this window must provide inspiration for many things. The view is very quaint and serene, and you have fallen in love with it. You then notice that there is a table next to the window, with a picture of the beautiful view during a springtime sunrise. You take one and admire Rosie, who has seemingly thought of everything.

Against the south wall is a desk, covered with memos and papers. Picking one up, you see that it is someone asking Rosie for help with building their homes. That must be where she's off to later, you think to yourself. How can anyone treat this girl the way this Z-san person did? Then you remember that the world is filled with all sorts of people, and not everyone is a soldier for love and justice.

Suddenly, a smaller girl with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes walks through the door. She is not quite 4 feet 6 inches tall, and is holding a tortoiseshell cat in her arms. Though she is small, she seems to be a teenager. Upon noticing you, she says, "Hello, I'm Cassie. You must be one of Rosie-san's many visitors. I live here, too. Would you like a tour?" You nod and follow her..
