Okay, so I really don't feel like writing a two-page paper due tomorrow morning in Poli Sci. Nor do I feel like doing the rest of my math homework which was really due yesterday. Nor do I feel like writing for thirty minutes on an english prompt (that's actually planned for the car trip to school, by the way). I am just the pinnacle of laziness. The reason I haven't updated the journal lately is because I've been too lazy to make the little images for the top of the page (oops). I finally am doing it tonight while I put off the inevitable.

On Tuesday (September 5) I asked a LAN party question on "The Screen Savers." It was hysterically funny. As soon as I get my own video capture or TV tuner card and don't have to use dad's piece of junk anymore, I'll upload the clip (it's about six minutes long) but until then, you're out of luck. Sorry.. Anyways, another person from my school whom I vaguely know (how vague, you ask? We haven't actually met at school yet; we figured out we knew each other in a chat room <G>) was on not long after I was..it was just really funny. Now the whole world knows I'm available for tutoring in APCS. ^^; I wasn't quite prepared for that..

My school schedule is fixed. I'm taking honors poli sci, ap chem, calculus bc, ap english lit, and of course madrigals. I'm also doing computer science ab via independent study (it's not offered at Samohi yet) and have an internship after school for an internet entertainment company. I haven't signed a NDA yet but I imagine I will at some point so I'll practice keeping my mouth shut now. I get paid, like, nothing but that's okay. As I told Wesley today, it beats flipping burgers and gaining twenty pounds (the part I really mind is the latter..the whole "dignity" thing doesn't bother me).

I had an entry from August but it got lost in the crippleware journal program, never to be seen again. I think that's unfair (maybe I'll nag the creator) but that's just me. It was a nice program, but too expensive for a sixteen year old girl to purchase. I think the entry had to do with me calling into TSS and dad's computer crashing. Maybe I'll do a reflection that explains the whole thing, or add in an entry to this month. I don't want to make any extra images ^^;

Oh well, back to real work. I have a new chair, btw -- it's hot pink and matches my keyboard. I'm working on getting a black monitor and case to complete the image. I bet you didn't know that I'm into ska, love watching extreme sports, and can't imagine "fitting in" if it means like being the same as everyone else.

A quickie for the early morning: Photo-Paint became suicidal. Needs to be reinstalled. Am waiting until I get WinMe as I was planning to do a nice beautiful reformat anyway. Been having fun playing Quake III and Diablo. Have cute cow purse. Did okay on chem test, not so well in choir quartet tests. Today is the bad day though. Sorry for the horrid grammar there!

GRRRRRRRR! I think this says it all (it's really not a lie..I'm going to get so much manure in my e-mail because of this..I'm sure..):

Well, I'm having this issue. I have a crush on Patrick [Norton]'s hands. Not really Patrick the person (he's sort of mean sometimes, like when I asked the age question hoping to prove to myself that he is WAY too old for me, unless it was a Catherine Zeta-Jones/Michael Douglas type of thing..but he's cool other times. When he's not insulting me *sob* at least his hands aren't insulting. On the air anyway.) but just his really cool hands. Could you *please* find some way to help me with this problem? *L* It's just ridiculous enough you might be interested in it. Patrick and Martin don't seem to be helping! *sigh* Pat only succeeded in making it worse.

I didn't even know it was possible to have a crush on someone's *hands* until today!! Now I can't get them out of my head..

ROFLMAO I am actually serious..and willing to subject myself to humiliation, apparently..do you think you could tell Patrick to, like..um..make his hands smaller? <G> He could cut off his left pinkie..he never *really* needs to capitalize anything again or use the tab key, does he?

I'll shut up now ^_^
