Drivers on a jammed commuter road faced this warning in the same unadorned lettering: "Keep using my name in vain, I'll make rush hour longer!" also signed simply "God."

Another sign reads: "Think it's hot here? Just wait!" - God

None of the billboards are attributed to anyone but God.
