The Portland Plant Party

    Sparrow, Kleo, and Nick.  At the end of April, Sparrow and I visited Kleo at her home in Portland, Oregon for a few days.  It was the first time Sparrow and Kleo met, and they were like sisters from the start.  I enjoyed seeing these two ladies together, and I have to say it . .Kleo is the most generous hostess, and the dearest friend one could wish to have.  That's a hint, gentlemen . . . and I do mean 'Gentlemen'.

While we visited, Sparrow did some gardening, and put together a set of planters for Kleo's deck.  Sparrow and Kleo picked out plants at the nursery . . . I toted.  And waited.   >G<  Actually, I enjoyed the nursery, too, after all, that's where the ladies were at . . and where else would I be?

We had a very nice day trip to the ocean, seafood for lunch in a pirate bar, and a walk on the beach, where the urge to dance in the waves was too much to resist, and Sparrow didn't resist for long.   Ocean Dancer's Poem, and Illustration is HERE.

We had such a good time with Kleo, she has some great friends, knows where the good BrewBars are, has quality coffee, and a heck of fine wine cellar, . . and I'll tell ya one more time . . she is one of the most generous people we have ever known . . Thank you, again, with Love, Kleo . . >S<
