I am originally from England and my
husband & I came to the USA in 1986. We have been married for 25
years and we have three children, Adam who is 19 years old, Rachel
who is 15 and Paul who is 13. I have always been around animals, but the unconditional love you receive from
your dog is very special. |

| Before becoming an instructor with Teamworks, I attended several of their classes, and when asked on the application for a class, "what are your ultimate goals for this dog", I would always answer, "I want a good friend, who listens". It is such a tremendous feeling having your dog or dogs that are so in tune with you, that they constantly have one eye on you, ready in case you give them a cue to do something. I feel that relationship is built by training and working with your dog in a fun and positive way, whether it is working together for good doggie manners, teaching your dog, tricks, visiting people less fortunate than ourselves where the dogs visit makes their day a little brighter, or one of the many dog sports there are to choose from. | |||

After working for the SPCA of Wake County for four years, and witnessing the unwanted dogs and cats that are brought to the shelter, it is very important to me to help dog owners find the relationship they can have with their dog, so that the dog can be a member of the family. All it takes is teamwork. | ||
