FATE OF THE BLACK ARROW (Resource Short-event)
Unique. Playable on a company bearing a usable Black Arrow.
Tap and discard Black Arrow to give -3 to the prowess and body of any one Drake or Dragon attack against the bearer's company.
Additionally, if the bearer of the Black Arrow that is discarded is a Man, gives -1 strike (to a minimum of 1) to the attack.

ME, YOU DON'T NEED (Resource Short-event)
Playable on a company after one of its characters with a body of 7 or higher has failed a body check.
For the rest of the turn, +1 body to all characters and allies in this company.

'Ye doom is ycomme true,' he groaned. 'O, tell the Lacedomecians to damn the torpedoes.' Then noisily shaking a large rattle, he expired.

HELM'S DEEP (Resource Short-event)
Playable at the end of the organization phase.
All automatic-attacks at Glittering Caves are canceled. Additionally, the hazard limit for all companies whose movement this turn includes Rohan or Gap of Isen is reduced by one (to a minimum of two) for every character in the company with a home site of Edoras.

ELVEN BRIDGE (Resource Short-event)
Playable at the end of the organization phase on a moving company which contains an Elf.
One non-Dark-domain region of the player's choice, both name and symbol, is not counted for the purpose of playing hazards or hazard effects. Discard at the end of the movement/hazard phase.

TOKEN OF WAR (Resource Short-event)
Diplomat only. Playable on an influence attempt before the dice are rolled. Items in the diplomat's party placed off to the side for this purpose give their MP value as a bonus to one influence attempt. Items are returned to their previous holders if the attempt is successful; they are discarded if the attempt fails.
May also be played during an opponent's site phase.

CAUSE OF THE FREE PEOPLES (Resource Short-event)
Unique. Playable on a Diplomat character at the same site as a revealed Agent who cannot use any type of magic.
Tap the character and make an influence check against the Agent modified by -1 for all revealed Agents in play. If the influence check is successful, the Agent is discarded.
Additionally, if the player making the check has a copy of that Agent in his hand, it may be played as an Ally worth 1 less marshalling point (to a minimum of 1) under the control of the influencing character.

WITHOUT A GLANCE OF LONGING (Hero Resource Short-event)
Playable on a company during the organization phase.
For the rest of this organization phase, all corruption checks incurred as a result of attempts to transfer or store items or permanent-events are made with a +2 modifier. This includes corruption checks incurred through Lure of Expedience.

LOCK NOR BAR MAY HINDER (Hero Resource Short-event)
Playable on a company bearing a Rescue Prisoners card during the organization phase.
Discard Rescue Prisoners to add a character to the company from your hand or discard pile. This may be done in addition to any other character added or discarded during this organization phase.

PUTTING AWAY ALL FEAR (Hero Resource Short-event)
Unique. Playable on a company with a Dark-domain in its site path, or at a site in a Dark-domain.
Discard all corruption cards placed on characters in this company. Make a roll (draw a #) for each hazard permanent-event or long-event in play; discard each on a 9 or better.
This card and its effects cannot be canceled.

...For those who haven't yet noticed...

ADUNAPHEL IS A BROAD (Hero Resource Short-event)
Unique. Playable if Adunaphel is in play as a permanent-event.
Remove Adunaphel from the game. All characters whose cards give them prowess bonuses against Nazgul attacks immediately move from wounded or tapped to well and untapped.

...Resolving all those issues, one way or another...

PITY MIXED WITH HORROR (Hero Resource Short-event)
Target character makes one corruption check for each corruption card attached to it. After each check, if character is still in play, one corruption card it bears is discarded.
This card may be played as a hazard card.
