Fusion can be done in a couple of ways, here they are: Fusion Earings These earings were created by the Kaiou-shins (The highest gods). When you fuse with these the fusion is considerded perminent, but Goku and Vegeta proved that wrong when they fused into Vegeto and then unfused when getting absorbed by Majin Buu. Veggeto Vegetto is the result of the fusion of Vegeta and Goku. Vegetto is very powerful and beat up Majin Buu with no problem! Goku and Vegeta first fused using Kaiou-shin's Fusion earings, they only unfused because they were absobed by Majin Buu. Vegeta at first did not want to fuse with Goku, he made a BIG fus about it, after a lot of this raving he finaly agreed to fuse. Fusion with the earings is permanent.Vegetto only appears with the earings (unfortunatly) not with the dance. Fusion Dance This involves two people preforming a dance. The people should be of equal strength and size to do this, or close to it. The dance is preformed as a mirror of the other person and ended by the people touching fingers and saying FUSION-HA! This technique is not always reliable, because it is easily confused and completed wrong, resulting in a strange and unpleasent fusion. (Hence fat Gogeta). This type of Fusion only lasts for 30 minutes and after the fusion it takes 1 hour to recover from it. Gogeta Gogeta is the result of the fusion between Goku and Vegeta using the fusion dance. Goku was the one that showed Vegeta how to do the Fusion dance, Vegeta, being stubborn as he is let his Saiyan pride get in the way and refused to do the dance. Finally, Vegeta agreed to do the dance, however, during the dance Vegeta screwed up and caused them to fuse wrong creating what we know as Fat Gogeta. Because of this failure, they almost get killed. Gotenks Gotenks is the result of Goten and Trunks fusing using the fusion dance. Goku taught the boys how to do it and then they were able to become an incredibly strong warrior. Gotenks was able to hold his own against Majin Buu for awhile. He even beat him once he went Super Saiya-Jin 3! But of corse he fails and later on gets absorbed.
