This issue has caused a lot of controversy with Nelvana and the CCS fans. Many of us are mad at Nelvana for their poor dubbing job, missing episodes and even missing episode clips. I personally perfer CCS because of the love story the dubbed barely had and the episodes I missed. All fans are waiting for Cardcaptor Sakura The Sealed Card dubbed on DVD November 8th 2003. Luckily, Nelvana had no part in the dubbing and I hope its not cut !

After watching the dubbed version, and looking at episode summaries of the original version, I came across something interesting...

When Sakura was in Hong Kong, all the writing was in Japanese, this also happened in school and in other parts of Tomodea. Couldn't Nelvana take some time to translate some of it?

In the original version, Yamazaki and Chinaru were a couple, in the dubbed, they are meerly friends.

In the dubbed version, Sakura changes the Clow Cards into Star Cards in the second season, in the original version, she transforms them into Sakura Cards

In the dubbed version, there is no relationship between Touya and Yukito

In the dubbed, Nelvana left in parts where Syaoran blushes around Sakura and Yukito, this could be passed off as a crush around Sakura and an older role model for Yukito, but I'm not so sure...
