My first day of kindergarten was certainly a new adventure! I made many new friends! The day I began school I thought I was a "big girl"! My favorite thing about kindergarten was nap time! That was always a time for my friends and I to tell each other stories, then pretend to be asleep when our teacher, Mrs. Bell would come over to check on us.
My 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Ross was great! She always kept pink slippers under her desk for when her feet got tired, but she never seemed to be able to keep up with them! My friends and I would always take them and use them as cars for our barbies! We had so much fun with her slippers! Thanks Mrs. Ross for being such a wonderful and loving teacher! I owe ya one!

2nd grade was not as exciting as kindergarten and 1st grade. My teacher was Ms. Starr, she was really nice and really neat, but 2nd grade was the time to start doing more work and less play!
My 3rd grade year was very exciting! My teacher, Mrs. Burch took a leave of absence to spend time with her newborn baby. While she was gone, Mrs. White took her place! Mrs. White loved to do artist things, so my class did alot of really interesting things! We put together many plays and learned a lot of fun and interesting things! Also, during my 3rd grade year I participated on the the Hamlin Warriors Majorette squad, I was honored by being chosen twirler of the team.

In 4th grade, my friends and I started a club! We called ourselves "The Dots!" My teacher was Mrs. Hall, we learned lots of interesting things. I also remainded twirler on the Hamlin Warriors Majorette squad.
In 5th grade, my teacher Mrs. Ferrell had also taken a leave of absense to spend time with her newborn baby. In her place was, Mrs. Stalnaker. She was a really fun teacher! Also, during my 5th grade year I switched from the majorette squad as twirler to the cheerleading squad as co-captain for the Hamlin Warriors!

In 6th grade, things seemed to turn around for me. My teacher was Mr. Holley. He had a completely different way of doing things. He really prepared my classmates and I for the new steps we were getting ready to begin as we prepared to enter Jr. High!
Now I'm ready to cross the street and begin new steps at
